So I took a semester off from school so I could focus on getting a house and this new job and stuff but now the house thing is on hold and all I have is this per diem job (which is great by the way, I just wish it was full time).
The last like week and a half of February I am completely off and I have nothing planned and it’s weird. So I’m making it a goal to not be lazy and to go to the gym (and do cardio blargh) and cook my own food and read more and be active in general.
I feel good. I wouldn’t say like amazing or great, but definitely better. I wake up easier and I’ve gone to the gym 4 times this week which is SO GOOD!
I do need to follow the meal plan a little better but I just cannot do the eggs. Eggs for breakfast just does not sound appealing no matter what I try to dress it up with. Oh well, maybe I’ll look something up online.
I like the plan because it’s not heavy on the cardio. I need to find something I enjoy because even just walking on the treadmill for a half hour, I am bored out of my mind. Maybe I’ll try that zombies run thing again..but they need it to be compatible with spotify.
This week is similar to last weeks except the number of workout days goes up to 5. Excited for the changes in my body though!

I might need to try and find another back/chest video to kind of feel more complete about the upper body because I’d really like to work on those a little more. I might just need to do a few sets of pushups for the chest just because. I’ll look over a few different videos for next week (or maybe for Friday since it’s full body on Friday).
Ah. So yesterday I had a day off (which is silly because it was Wednesday and I’m the girl who has to cover vacations which means my days off switch and can cause me to do like a 3 day work, 2 day off, 7 day work, 2 day off kinda thing) and I didn’t do my workout which is why at the end instead of doing kind of a full body thing I did a booty workout (which was supposed to be yesterday).
Total time- 1 hour or so
By the way, it’s Friday and I don’t want to go to work.
And by mostly arms is I mean I did a little bit of upper body (chest, back, etc.) but mostly triceps and biceps and such.
The only video I did was the Bikini Blaster 1 (links are in the previous workouts) for the 15 minutes of cardio at the beginning but after that I just put together a bunch of random arm excercises. Some of them include:
And every time I could feel my heart rate slow down, I would do between 15 and 45 seconds of some sort of cardio move (jumping jacks, burpees (ew, I know), running in place, high knees, etc.)

I didn’t want to do the whole hour because I’m going bowling with the boyfriend tonight and I didn’t want my arms to be like jello or else it wouldn’t be fun at all.
I’m wasting time on Tumblr instead of doing this. I should probably just go hurry up and do it so I don’t have to rush to get ready for work..

So usually when I do the 15 minutes of HIIT workout cardio whatever stuff before I go into whatever spot on my body the workout is, I get like.. super tired in the middle of it. But today we did burpees (oh my gosh. I die every. time.) and I could do the first 10 easily! WHAT?! I can barely do the second one without almost falling but today it was 10! You have no idea you guys.
I felt like this was almost kind of a breakthrough (weird. I know.) that my workouts won’t be so hard every single time (I mean, they shouldn’t be easy, but at least I won’t kinda dread them) and that I can actually get stronger and like working out.
Oh gosh. I’m so excited.
I don’t want to do them guys. I feel so weak when it comes to this ab stuff. And I hope Cassie knows she’s going to get yelled at today for making me all sweaty with her cardio stuff. Anyway..this is the same workout as last week but after a while of doing the videos, I know the moves so I just use my own music so I don’t have to listen to the same song like.. over and over again. (and times are approximated and I incorporate rest time in between because I get well..tired.)

Can I just say that I’m so excited that there is a very limited amount of lower body in this workout? Like seriously. My legs want to die right now from yesterday and the fact that only the upper half of my body is going to work is so..fabulous. Anyway,

Edit: No legs my butt! Halfway or so through the Awesomesauce Arms there’s like a move with some legs and my legs were like,”Please no!” but I did it anyways and now I’m going to go shower and eat some wonderful post-workouty goodness!
